Big Tablets Co., Ltd. (CEO Moon Ji-ho, 12th Youth Start-up Academy) donated 1 million won to the Daegu Buk-gu Office (Director Bae Kwang-sik) on December 7th (Wednesday).
Bae Kwang-sik, head of Buk-gu District Office, and CEO Moon Ji-ho attended the delivery ceremony, and shared various opinions on corporate social contribution. Big Tablet Co., Ltd. was established in April 2022, and it is a young start-up company that has grown by moving into a youth playground, a startup co-working space, after winning a prize as a signage advertisement software business at the youth start-up competition in Buk-gu, Daegu, earlier this year. CEO Moon Ji-ho is a student at Kyungpook National University's School of Computer Science and Engineering, and in July 2021, he started a business with his colleagues from Kyungpook National University's School of Computer Science and Engineering at his dormitory and established Big Tablet Co., Ltd. In addition to the initial funding project, the youth start-up in Buk-gu, Daegu was selected for various support projects such as the Youth Start-up Academy and the Daegu Social Economy Youth Start-up Support Project. With 10 patent applications and 200 million won in sales as of the second half of the year, it has grown nearly 1400% in the first year of its founding, growing rapidly into a digital signage and kiosk software development and big data research company. "We prepared small sharing to contribute to the local community by achieving business results by receiving support for start-ups in Buk-gu," Moon Ji-ho said. "I hope it will be a small but warm help to neighbors in need." Bae Kwang-sik, head of Buk-gu District Office, said, "I sincerely thank CEO Moon Ji-ho for looking back on his neighbors and practicing sharing for the local community during economically difficult times."
