Computer Systems and AI Lab (CoSAIL) researches innovative system software technologies that maximize the performance and efficiency of AI computing and cloud/data center computing. The scope of research spans the entire computer system, and in particular, we focus on convergence research in the fields of computer systems and AI, as well as system software research for next-generation hardware.

Based on our specialized knowledge of computer architecture and operating systems, our lab conducts in-depth analysis of inefficiencies in existing computer systems and researches new system software technologies to solve them. Main research topics include high-performance/high-efficiency AI system research, AI-based computing system optimization technology research, and system software research for next-generation hardware such as AI accelerator/CXL memory.
