About Lab.

In the computer graphics lab, research related to 3D geometric modeling, molecular modeling, and parallel programming using graphic processors is performed.

In the field of computer graphics, modeling is the task of creating a three-dimensional shape, and in this regard, research related to character modeling used in games and movies, and surface/geometric modeling used in CAD/CAM is conducted. carry out

The problem of modeling protein molecules is very important for protein synthesis or development of new drugs. In this laboratory, excellent research results were obtained in various areas such as calculation of the interaction interface between molecules, calculation of minimum distance and Voronoi diagram for molecules, collision detection, channel/tunnel/cavity calculation of molecules, and convex hull calculation.

Recently, research is being conducted to analyze the geometric characteristics of polygonal meshes for cryo-EM maps and 3D printer output.
